Hasbro continue their new Legacy Collection for 2009 with wave five consisting of figures from A New Hope. As they did last year, these figures continue the Build-A-Droid theme with a component of an Astromech droid included with every figure.
The next figure in the series in #34 Obi-Wan Kenobi. This is an excellent figure with a great likeness of Alec Guiness and is better than 2004’s OTC #02 Obi-Wan Kenobi.
He has head (rotational and vertical), shoulder (rotational and abductional), elbow (rotational and vertical), wrist (rotational), torso (rotational), hips (vertical) and knee (rotational and vertical) and ankle (rotational and vertical) articulation which gives him an excellent 23 ranges of movement.
Ben is armed with his trusty blue lightsabre and has a removable brown cloth Jedi robe. there is also the table from Ben’s home which comes in two pieces. They clip together easily but it is a one time assembly and the clips will not allow you to take it apart again. A blue hologram figure of Princess Leia fits onto the top of the table as well.
There is also the .main body of R5-A2 The rest of this droid is included with figures #30, #31, and #32.
A very nice figure and the best Obi-Wan figure to date.
