We bought this a few days ago, and overall they have been the most popular Dora dollhouse items (you have to have the baby twins of course!). I was impressed that the rocking horse doesn’t fall over when a baby is getting pushed on it, and how well the babies sit on it. It’s a little tricky at first to get the babies sitting on the horse, but my 3 year old daughter figured it out in 5 minutes, and my 2 year old took just a half an hour to get it down (though my father in law still doesn’t get how to do it).
On flaw in design is the stroller. I love that it can work for 2 or 1 baby, and how easy it is to adust it accordingly, but there is nothing to hold the babies in place! The baby sitting in the back does fine, but the front seated baby doesn’t stay on for more than a couple seconds. After seeing my kids get so frusterated with it, I used some hair elastics to make a “seat-belt” of sorts, and now the babies can stay put easily, and still be slid in or out. I think some sort of restraint for the stroller (at least the front seat!) would have made for a more kid-friendly design.
The high chair we LOVE. The bar comes unsnapped at one side so it can swing open, but it’s also really easy to slip the babies in and out without opening the bar/tray. It’s really cute, and my kids have put it to good use!
Overall, I would definately buy this accessory pack again, but wish that fisher-price would take a look at redesigning the stroller … mainly that front seat. But, we found a solution for it that works for us, and I am so happy with this purchase.
